Formation for Adults
Our adult formation opportunities are shared between all six South Shore parishes, and we have many different offerings to help you grow in your relationship with and knowledge of God. There are Thursday morning Bible studies held at St. Paul, Adult Faith Sharing groups held on Sundays at St. Veronica, other seasonal Bible studies and book discussions, small groups, and many more. As busy adults you may not have the time to get to a lot of the small groups, formation events, and prayer services we offer, but that doesn’t mean you cannot continue learning about our beautiful Catholic Faith! Below are different resources that you can use to grow closer to the Lord through knowledge, prayer, and practice.

Ascension Presents
Ascension Press creates all kinds of Catholic material, books, videos, podcasts, and articles to help answer some of the common questions Catholics may have. Find all of their materials HERE.
Podcasts- The resources below all come in podcast form, so you can listen and learn while you are in the car, doing household chores, or getting some exercise! You can find these on most podcast platforms and apps like Apple Podcasts, Hallow, Spotify, YouTube, etc.
Abiding Together
This is a weekly podcast hosted by Michelle Benzinger, Sr. Miriam James Heidland, and Heather Khym to help people live out their faith. Sr. Miriam James Heidland has been a national speaker and has done a lot of parish missions locally.
Catechism in a Year
This is a follow up since the Bible in a Year was so well received, so Fr. Mike Schmitz walks through the whole Catechism of the Catholic Church!
Pints with Aquinas
This is a podcast hosted by Matt Fradd, who hosts guests to come and speak on Catholic ideas, themes, and culture.
Thomistic Institute
The Thomistic Institute is a research institute of the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C. Promoting Catholic truth in the contemporary university is the primary focus of our work. We also promote the Catholic intellectual tradition online. Initially created to serve the students in our campus programs, Aquinas 101 now enjoys a global audience of all ages.

This is produced by Bishop Robert Barron and is an amazing intro or reintroduction to what Catholicism is all about.
Bible in a Year
Fr. Mike Schmitz walks through the whole Bible in just 365 days! The longest podcast is about 20 minutes.
Restore the Glory
Dr. Bob Schuchts & Jake Khym, MA are Catholic therapists who focus on the integration of people’s healing and faith journeys.

Theology of the Body Institute
